Well, I don't have experience creating views through code - I create them through the view designer, and store them in the database.

The commands I was referring to are other commands, once the view works:

GetNextModified() - gets recno() for next modified record.

GetFldState() - tells whether there are changes to the current record.

TableUpdate() - saves changes.

TableRevert() - undoes changes.
