>>As info - I started over in the movie and never did see "Octopussy" in the cable car. About one hour into the film there is a cable car scene, but I did not recognize her. However, I suspect she really is there. That's too easy to discredit when it's not an extra and it is not uncommon for people being replaced to make cameos in subsequent films. It makes the audience accept the new person more. Star Trek was more than a cameo in "Generations" and "Barnaby Jones" was in the Beverly Hillbilly Movie. There are plenty more, but it's late.

>>Q more than Money Penny. But, I seem to remember Money Penny being a toll booth operator in one of her last, if not her last Bond movie.

Come to think of it, I've only seen cable cars in movies. Anway, they are a trolley that has wheeels like a train, but smaller, runs on a train track and is powered by a electical cable that run over the track. They don't appear to be as long as a car on a train, but are probably as wide. Cable car's are not very common in the USA except for San Franscisco. San Francisco has some pretty substantial hills people have to go up and down.

And, I don't see how cameos hurts the integrity of the film. Especially if it's not that obvious and a dead scene. Anything they do has to do with making money. The more peole that watch ti, the more money they make. They got me to dig the tape out of a box, watch it last night, and talk to a guy in another country about it. An extra wouldn't have gotten me to do that.
