I thought maybe the file was corrupted but I've tried cupoying all of the text out of the .prg and then deleting it, creating a new one and pasing the text into that. I still get the same result.
First time though the two space characters and the comma (which make up the last three characters of the string of text that is the first thing written to the file are the only characters of the string that get written.
