1) When a form is loaded (Do Form...) the init of the form always fires. Double check that this is so/not so.
2) The "Select Into ... cursor.." - are you sure the "previously open" table (a) really has been opened and (b) is available to the form.
3) Also, what is the actual error message then?
I am not sure what you mean by "call the application from an executable".
