A VFP 7.0 .EXE will only look for the VFP 7.0 runtimes. So to execute a VFP 7.0 .APP, you'd need a VFP 6.0 .EXE to call it. (This of course assumes the VFP 7.0 .APP doesn't use ANY of the new VFP 7.0 specific commands or options.)
Of course the opposite is also true.

>I am about to upgrade a client's application from VFP 6 to VFP 7. I am also in the process of replacing some of their computers. If the client computers are running the client install of VFP 6 will the be able to run a new VFP 7 executible or must they all be upgraded to VFP 7.
