Jim;
Our countries have the best medical systems. Canadians can travel to the United States for private medical care and we can travel to Canada to purchase prescription medications at a fraction of the cost we pay here. Just think, we make the medications and ship them to other countries and they charge less then we have to pay in our own back yard. What a great system!
I even found an online system in Canada that sells prescription medications to residents in the United States. According to what I have thus far read it is legal and there are no real restrictions. However, something tells me that the pharmaceutical companies in this country will lobby to prevent such things. There is nothing like a “free market”.
