Last days I was reading about "Lest's write a page in the History of the software Marketing" posted by Alejandro Sosa (Message #
718239) which generate a new idea now called "Guerrilla Marketing", this idea is great and our National User Group (PortalFox-Mexico) are thinking about start those Guerrilla Marketing in our Country, the main target is to do a
FREE (for Microsoft) Marketing and Promotion of VFP. What are we going to do?
1.- Each Regional Group (I mean a group by city) will have a CD for demostrate VFP8 in basic & middle way.
2.- Each member of the Regional Group will be a copy of those CD to progragate the idea of develop application with VFP to all his professional partners, co-workers & friends.
Ok, the purpose of this message is to ask about the content of the CD and I'd want to know if everithing inside it will be legal.
Content of Guerrilla Marketing CD.
* VFP8b
* Free tutorials
* Free codesamples
* Windows Service Packs (Win2k SP3 & WinXP SP1)
Now, my Question is?, Can we do it?, Why not?
Is important to tell you that everything will be
FREE with NO COST. Not all the developers (and potential new VFP folks) can do the download of all those files (more than 350 MBs), the reason?, low connections :(
Another Questions: why don't do it in all the world??, what do u think about it?
Thanks in advance.
