>Take the UT Wishlist, now, the "official VFP wishlist". Problem is, you need a UT Membership to take advantage of the "official VFP wishlist." Some people think that because Michel benefits financially from even basic universalthread members (advertising dollars, traffic statistics, and potentional PUTM customers which is required if you want to use UT features like "search") the UT is not a good choice for "official" VFP duties. They have a good argument, which is worth some thought.

On a side note, I would appreciate if members refer to the Universal Thread as a corporate entity under Fournier Transformation instead of Michel. There is also several consultants also involved in it which work on a monthly basis on several tasks boundd official with corporate contracts for delivering specific assignments. So, it's better to relate to it as a corporate entity and not under an individual basis. Yes, all this is managed as a business as this is what it is. But, despite the fact that it runs under a business doesn't mean that anyone involved in it or the owners are making a tons of money out of it or whatever related topics apply should be of any mean for specific arguments. It costs a lot on an annual basis to run the big show. It's impossible to run such a product under a non corporate entity. It's big but whatever is big brings big expenses. I think this is a point a lot of people have missed over the years in regards to UT. Also, such similar products on the Internet are run under a business entity as otherwise quite difficult. MS VFP is a business. No one complains about it. I'll still continue to use VFP even is MS would make ten times profit as actual. So, I don't know why people would have to consider not using UT or would need to rethink their POV because this is a business - in regards to "offical" VFP duties. I really didn't get that one. Sorry :)

As to the original point, in regards to other VFP products, for example, I'd always try to refer to WWC under West Wind product and not under Rick's product. The same goes with Kevin McNeish. I'd go with Oak Leafe's training instead of Kevin's training. I believe this shows a respect for top VFP businesses in the market presently which deserve to be notified by the entity and not as an individual basis.
