There was no group decision at GLGDW to not use the UT. Some group leaders talked to me privately about this. As I don't remember exactly who did talk to me about it, I will contact each group leader that attended to get their feeling on this.

>
>Well, did you contact the other user group leaders to get their feedback. Probably not, because I already got some feedback already about such decision where some have been leftover. So, that decision having been taken without having contacted the entire user group leaders community in regards to VFP, is not very good.
>
>What is also extremely sad in this is that no one even tried to contact us. No one came to us and asked what could be done to improve in what you think should be improved.
>
>Also, no matter what would be done elsewhere, it will always contributed to lower the exposure of the User Group Meeting Tracker. Thus, this will bring a negative impact to the user groups in general as there is already a considerable investment done by UT which is recognized by several user group leaders and members who rely on UGMT for their meetings and related information on a regular/monthly basis.

>Having had someone to contact us would have brought you the confirmation about the upcoming dedicated layout for the User Group Meeting Tracker. And, expected under its own domain as well. As we did recently for the Hotline, the magazine and the onsite coverages sites, the same is expected for the VFP Zone and the UGMT. But, no one knew about it because we've been left over in that.
>
>The UGMT has been created based on the UG leaders request. UT has made a great investment to develop, host, promote, present, donate, etc. to user groups and it would be a shame to loose all that investment at this point.
