In preparing the information I just emailed to you I discovered my hypothesis that VFP is not applying it's precedence rules when NoDataOnLoad = .T. is not entirely accurate. What is accurate is that the view structure when NoDataOnLoad = .T. is different that when it is .F., and I get a 1494 error that crashes my application. I believe it may have something to do with the new implicit data conversion functionality that emerged in VFP8. You can run form1.scx to reproduce the problem.
