Thanks for the information. I tried creating an empty project using VS 6 and adding all the file in the csource directory as you suggested. However, on building the dll I get the following error:

"could not find the file version.rc"

Any ideas where to find this file? Did MS not supply this file?

If I comment out the line that calls this file, and rebuild again, I get a warning:

"warning C4005: 'DBGPrintf' : macro redefinition"

followed by:

"fatal error c1010: unexpected end of file while looking for precompiled header directive"

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
