So maybe it's a problem with my installed VFP8. 255,255,255 is the default, I changed it to 192,192,192; save then upon opening it, becomes 255,255,255 but the color of the grid is still 192,192,192 which is grey.
Second, why is it that saving a remote view without doing anything always prompts me with "Base table fields have been changed and no longer match view fields. View field properties can not be set."

>I don't understand the problem. 255,255,255 is white, which the backcolor is by default. When you change it to, say, 0,0,0 (black) it turns to black. And the Property window shows 0,0,0. So what's the issue?
