Hi!

It might be grid's problem, not edit box's. What are properties of your grid? Try to put something under the grid (like Shape object with some color) and see what happens. If gray changes to the color of shape - you just see some "transparent" parts of grid that happens often when you turn off grid lines or ion some other cases. Ins uch case I usually place shape under grid with color of background of grid.
