While I agree with you on your comments below, I think from my experience that a lot of people DO make the assumption that VFP will and has declined in use/popularity based on the appearance (or lack thereof) of VFP books in the stores. As you said, this is not a good measure, but, it is happening and unfortunately I believe it will continue to.
I'm a diehard Foxer and I hear it all the time from my VB co-workers and friends. One of their first shots at me is almost always, "How many VFP books do you see at [fill in any bookstore name here]?". My response has been that VFP is so easy to use that I don't need any books:) Of course I'm envious of them because of all the VB references available out there.
Just my 2cents. BTW, I wish you all the best and hope you are successful in promoting VFP not only in Asia but worldwide and within Microsoft.

>Books on VFP are based on demand, and most books on VFP now are created by Hentzenwerke.com and don't find their way to bookstores. But nobody should measure the use or any decline or incline of VFP in an area based on VFP books in bookstores.
