I run VFP 8 on a notebook PC with Win98SE and 32 MB RAM. Does not seem to prevent the development for me so far. :) In fact, I did VFP 8 demonstration at Chicago User Group on this notebook. IMHO, I believe that MS just does not want to support it on Win98.

I had this GDIPLUS.DLL problem too once, and yes, you can just copy it.

Not that I am saying you should run it on Win98... :)
