Thanks for your information.

I'm very interested in creating report in PDF format.
My plan is to use the Amyuni printer driver (dll is availbable) to create the output directly in PDF, and not to create an ouput in html.

How would this work: Do you create a temporary PDF file on the server and redirect the browser to this file? Would the printer driver not been overloaded with printing requests?
It would be nice if you could give me some ideas on how to implement this on an afp page, to output the report on PDF.
(It would not be enough to let the user download the pdf file, it should open right away in explorer.)


>Yes www.vfug.org is completley an AFP creation. I have used AFP now for about 3 years. However, My sites do not experience that many concurrent users. I have had no complaints. I have 2 sites up, one that displays CAD drawings in PDF format and another that (creates quotes, places an order & checks inventory data)
