The Report Writer isn't the best tool to create ASCII files. Depending on file layout you can use one of the following VFP command/function
- COPY TO TYPE SDF/DELIMTED
- STRTOFILE()
- LLFF's: FCREATE(), FWRITE(), FPUT(0, FCLOSE()
- TEXTMERGE( ) function
- Textmerge commands \ and \\
