In my very limited use of ISE I haven't found an instance where a working .EXE failed to work when installed using ISE on another computer. A few things to check:
- that your compiled .EXE and the distributed runtime are both the same version (i.e. VFP7 SP1)
- you do not mention if the ISE installation is on a different machine; if so, try disabling any antivirus product that may be in use there
- you do not mention if the app is running multi-user; if so, talk with the sysadmin to see if network problems could be the cause.
- run CHKDSK or the error-checking function on the disk in question.
