Hi Frank,
your expiriences with NT 4.0 could help me,
since part of my work is for an insurance company,
where NT4 [SP5 ;-)] is the defined standard for
devlopment as well as baseline for deployment.
And officially I am neither allowed to
connect my laptop to the LAN there,
nor to install any software -
even if the machine somehow got
local admin rights for my ID.
I hope to hear ***nothing***
from you about this topic ;-)
Small development troubles with Vfp8 under NT could
be managed, since there is a task planned
to switch to W2K. Deployment troubles on NT4.0
would kill any updates "there" as certain as the
relativly small troubles of german runtimes
killed the switch to VFP7.
