Gentlemen:

I have a client that has need of a custom POS System and am busy documenting the system for the prospective client. He wants 3 touch screen monitors for 2 order points and a bar. I have seen systems that seem to run off dumb terminals with just the monitor and a receipt printer at the order point. Are they really terminals? How are they all linked to a common CPU? What would be the easiest way to design something like this. I really need some ideas on the remote monitor situation.
