I have just uploaded IconBuddy for VFP7 Version 1.2 in the download-area (download#15832).

IconBuddy is a small class that allows You to extract icons from executables and dlls, or
even get the associated icons for excel spread-sheets and thelike. Icons are provided as
objects that can directly be used in ImageLists.

There are methods to retrieve either single icons, large/small icon-pairs and all icons of a single file.

low level methods are provided as well that return iconHandles in case You need to do something with them.

IconBuddy has a CHM-helpfile and as SAMPLE.SCX that uses ImageList- and Listview-controls

Version 1.2 now has a method that extracts an icon and directly adds it to an imageList. If the key for an image is already existing, the index of that image will be returned, and the Image will not be added to the ImageList again. So most of the tasks can be done in a single command.
