Hi. We have a strange problem that happens in different screens and at different clients. The screens are parent/child screens where a grid is used for the child. At one site in particular our inventory adjustment screen allows you to enter about 10 - 15 children then it crashes with a 'dump' of a view definition that is used in the screen (not controlling the grid - which is just a foxpro table.) The client is running Win XP and so are we. We cannot re-create this even by doing exactly the same keystrokes using their data so we concluded it is environmental but cant figure out what exactly is causing the problem. THere is lots of hard drive space and the user has 256 MB RAM and nothing else open. We have seen similar things on other machines in similar forms (but not necessarily the same form). We sometimes see the error as a variable not found, but it looks like it is just running out of memory and dumps whatever it is doing. Some clients cannot get more than 15 line items, some can enter 100 without incident. Most of the client's enviroments are similar to ours - Norton AntiVirus, Zone Alarm, patches applied. The app is VFP 7.0 with Visual Extend framework. Any one else ever seen this one????
TIA,
Sandi Cassidy
