Thanks for the reply -
In my watch window, I notice that the value of my CPProperty.Value could not be evaluated when set to "Initial Catalog". In my command window, I tried running ?cpproperty.Name - same error. Apperently, I am not accessing the Initial Catalog property. I think this is because the properties attached to this object are "driven" by how the report is connecting. The example I used from Crystal help, "How to connect to an OLEDB data source", is connecting to a SQL Server using an ODBC Data Source, and uses Initial Catalog. The table object I have instanciated has 8 properties attached to it. I assume they are the 8 I found in Crystal help - "Common Connection Properties" (not including Initial Catalog), but I am not sure how to know for certain.
I tried interigating the properties to see what the values are set at. I think some of them might be write-only.
Only 3 of the properties had values that were able to be evaluated:
Data Source = c:\temp
Provider = "VFPOLEDB"
User Id = n/a
The table location returns the name of the table I created the report with - which I expected, but I cannot change the location to the new table. I believe I need to correctly connect to the data source to do this.
