Our last group meeting had 4 MS people demo'ing VFP8. I can't recall there ever being a VFP conference in this city. My involvement with the UG goes back to March, 1992 when it was formed - I've missed probably less than 5 meetings since then.
>As for VFP specific events, there use to be the LA regional event. Barry Lee was doing it. That one was closer to Vancouver than Las Vegas. As for the rest, it's mostly resort oriented for Advisor's ones and regional event such as Whil's, Russ's Rainer's and Igor's.
Distance to LA vs. LV is probably a wash. And yeah, we probably could use some recreation - maybe make a "VFP cruise" - Vancouver is now a large cruise ship port (to Alaska in the summer).
