Hi

I'm currently working on an application in VFP6.0, that may one day, be built as a 3-tier system.

Because I am aware of this, I'm trying to keep the development in a direction that will ease the pain of turning it into a 3-tier app in the future. I do realise this is "ease", not eliminate.

Has anyone got any suggestions on how the app could be written to make it easier to re-write in the futre.

I'm thinking along the lines of keeping UI code in the forms, and data-manipulation in separate objects, and not allowing one to directly "dabble" with the other.

I know there is more to it than that, but I want a general direction in which to follow, am I on the right lines here?
