There is simply too much power at certain levels. I've seen some of that turning into something bad in Montreal and there is much more that I could talk about here. Despite the fact that the base facts are to focus on .NET, it's what this focus is providing to actual people that are causing some serious situations. And, I mean .NET against .NET here. So, it goes way beyond manipulation the information and playing a game here against actual user groups of other technologies but within its own environment as well.
