Source Safe Control
If what you say is true, why even have the SourceSafe IDE integrated into FoxPro? When I am selecting a library and using the integrated SourceSafe tools, I expect the operation to perform the function it is advertising. Therfore: when I choose a form and select a RollBack, it is not only a poor implementation of SouceSafe, but a very confusing and useless feature if only the VCA (which is not used at all by Fox) is the only file rolled back! What use is that?

>No, the project manager only rolls back the VCA file. It can be that the VCX file changes without that the VCT file changes, and vice versa. Therefore, VFP cannot automatically determine which version of the VCX/VCT/VCA files belong together, except for the most recent version. You need to rollback in SourceSafe Explorer. Since a rollback can't be undone and you need to guess which files belong together, I recommend to first get the version you think belong together, verify that they indeed belong together and then rollback to that version.
