>>I'm confused about what you described as a procedure for getting get HTML Help to work in VFP applications on "older computers that do not have IE4 or later". Does this mean that the warning message is wrong, and that you can in fact get it to work without installing IE4+, just by running HHUPD.EXE? That would be pretty interesting, if true.

>First, this thread is over 3 years old, so my memory on this is very faint. You can ignore the warning, and the app will install OK. The failure warning is because if the IE4 failure/absence. I am fairly certain I still got this to work by having the user install the HTML Help engine files from the HHUPD.EXE installation file [or whatever it was named]. The foxhhelp files were installed using the setup wizard.

Yea, I noticed that this is a very old thread. I don't mean to hold you to the accuracy of your distant recollections, but if it worked 3 years ago it might still work today. I'm curious whether that's the case, because I'd want to know about this option if it really exists. Distributing and installing HHUPD.EXE sounds potentially easier than getting someone to install/upgrade IE. It also makes me wonder what else comes along with it, e.g. a backdoor to distributing the WebBrowser control. Just wondering...
