Bob,
VFP8 is needed for the install only (only because I compiled everything in VFP8) Once installed, you can use VFP 7 SP1 or VFP 6 SP5. It's also possible to just recompile the raw source without VFP8 (but with VFP 6/7) since the rawsource.zip file is included, but, that's a few more steps...
