Recently, I frequently have the following problem with my dial-up connection at home:
After surfing normally for a while, suddenly the connection is still active (according to the connection icons), but all Internet traffic stalls. It seems that no packets are sent back and forth. When I hang up and dial again, everything works normally - at least, for a while.
Is there anything I can do to "refresh" the connection without hanging up?
Is there anything else I should do, or suggest to my ISP?
TIA, Hilmar.
