I once tried the (trial) Visio, to see what can be pulled out of the exported XML. Good news, everything's there. Bad news, everything is there. Even all the stencils etc etc, loads of stuff which is common to anything you do in Visio. I expected it would just save my project (which had just one of each control on a "form"), but it saved everything it saw. Pretty hard to extract the information you want, but feasible.
