Thanx for the responses.

David Franken had suggested your procedure to me last year and I was successfull in:
- setting a path in a field
- right clicking to bring up a dialog box for file selection
- double clicking to launch the file

but I was not successfull in previewing the graphic. I selected IMAGE from the FORM CONTROLS tool bar, and dragged it to the form. Then I set the PICTURE value to in the image properties to that field (i.e. =orders.invoicescan1)

I recompiled and ran the app. but did not have a preview. I tried many derivatives =(orders.invoicescan) &orders.invoicescan ... but could not figure out the correct syntax.

I am soooo close. Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
