I'm designing a VFP report engine using the RDC.

I need to pass a string of values to be used as we would a memvar in a VFP report.

So, I want to use the parameterfielddefinition object to do this. Question is how do I represent those values at design time and how will the report know which item is what?


A related question is: If you use 2x tables as you data sources and the paths are entered into the tablescollection item list, will the application object know automatically which tables are which if the table names are the same as design time?

Iow, if I connect to d:\tableA e:\tableB c:\tableX to design a report, then enter those paths as item 1-3 in the tables collection, will it know what they are?
