I am using Norton Antivirus 2003, and has it running in the background with the Auto-Protect feature.

However, I am experiencing, that opening projects in Visual Foxpro 6 and 7 is very slow, when Auto-Protect is enabled, and the speed is normal, when I disable Auto-Protect.

I have tried to exclude all foxpro filetypes in the Auto-Protect settings, though without any luck - it is still very slow.

Does anybody have an solution, where I can have Auto-Protect enabled, and still open Visual Foxpro projects without having to wait 8-10 minutes every time (it is a big project, but without Auto-Protect it is about 2-5 secs.).
