i have an edit box in a grid that is giving me grief. firstly, any text from the memo field attached to the box only shows up if you press the right arrow key on the keyboard - almost as though there are a whole bunch of leading spaces before the text. if you do a browse and check the memo field, there are no leading spaces. secondly, the column, the textbox and the editbox are all readonly=.f., but at runtime if i try to edit the text i get a system message saying 'this control is read only'. any ideas?
