BOL: It is recommended that ANSI_PADDING always be set to ON. SET ANSI_PADDING must be ON when creating or manipulating indexes on computed columns or indexed views.

>I have a VFP form that uses a remote view to a SQL table (via a connection string). Before I edit the record, there aren't any trailing blanks in the SQL table. After I edit the record using the VFP form and send the update there are trailing blanks (up to the size of the field). My DBA is getting mad...can I stop this?
