I have been asked to get some data out of a SQL database (MSSQL Version 8.00.02).

Does the Hentzenwerke SQL book discuss this process?

Can I take the database standalone files and copy to my SQL server (I have never used it - yet - so I do not know if this is possible).

What would be the best route since every table has field names > 10 characters and they duplicate that 10 character prefix.
