I have an VFP application that calls Word 97 and does some Mail Merge operations. My application as does Word 95, which is where I started. This year, my client have began experiencing problems in Word 97 of "Word could not open the data source" - when i debug, it stops at the line:

I have found the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 173574 which talks about the Mail Merge not working with VFP. It says to install MDAC. I looked on my machine, and have found that I have the MDAC on my machine, if not installed. I can find no place to find if it is installed.

Mail Merge and VFP 5.0 used to work back in at least 2000, when I built these connection. But I have since moved to VFP 6.0 and rebuilt my machine at least twice.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get this working again.
