You are right. The reason I went in this oddball direction in the first place was because I was trying to keep my range intact where I was adding tables so I could assign a Left Indent to the entire range when I was finished. I have since found the LEFTINDENT property for TABLE.ROWS so I have solved this problem.

I have another one now ... (isn't there always another one ?) ... but that is another story for another thread. Thanks.
