Is there any way to calculate the # of rows that are being used by the tabs?

Not that I know of. But how would that help? The problem here is that the pageframe’s properties are not changing when it grows to accommodate the new row of tabs. Even if a formula works perfectly when the pageframe is instantiated, it fails as soon as another row is added dynamically.
