Delete the c$ share of his pc and share the hard drive out ONLY to his username. Have only the administrator account and his personal account on his machine. His machine is the XP, correct? If he comes in via the VPN under a different username, his share will prompt him for the login and password when he tries to access his pc from home or someplace else. At that time he should enter his work login and password (the same one he uses when sitting at his desk).

>Hi. I now have one XP Prof computer on a NT4 network with all other Win98 pc's.
> My problem is passwords on the XP. The boss wants his pc only accessible by his logon, whether he is at the terminal, another terminal, or the VPN. I do not know how to identify him as a user coming in from the network side (into the XP environment).
