I sotred this problem out. I incoorectly set the filter to a field from a file rather than a Property of the form.

>In this case you should be fine, I think, performance wise. Did you try refresh the grid and move focus out and in? I never had problems showing content of the filtered set in a grid (except for performance decrease, of course).
