If I understand correctly, you want to do this for yourself, not automate it in a Visual FoxPro program, right?

Search in Excel under "amortization" or "payment". Excel has lots of functions to do this sort of calculation.

The help also explains how many of the advanced functions are defined. The amortization payment, though, can apparently not be expressed by other functions; it has to be obtained by trial-and-error.
