My thanks to both Nadia's and Tamar's postings. I'm adding this as a clarification to my first post. I'm able to drag an object from a grid and drop it into a list box. But I must select the row in the target list before I begin the drag-drop process so the dragDrop event will know where to edit the data.

I haven't figured out how to tell the row my mouse is over that it is the row I want to edit when I drop the data.
