7.0 and I am still using VFP 7.

Let me add this and perhaps it might spread some light on it.

The Parent table is a table, and the Child Table is a table, and the 5 grandchild's off the Child Table are local views. In this setup, I am getting the ListNavigator error.

Now, I removed the Child Table in the CDE and replaced it with a local view and that clears the problem up completely.

If need be I can live with this. Gary, perhaps you can clear something up for me. The reason I used local views in the GrandChild forms was I needed to allow the user to "sort" in grids or change the sort order of the grand child form. I don't mind using a local view for the Child table also, but I was concerned about the amount of data that this pulls across a LAN when I navigate the parent. In your experience is there any performance penalty using views like this versus native VFP tables? (the Child will never be more than 15 rows and more times than not less than 5, but the grand child records could be several hundred to a couple thousand rows).
