Hi!

I think this have something related to DO FORM command. Even with Windows API functions, on the level of VFP language, top-level form is still modeless. Modal form functionality on the VFP language level should stop code execution at the DO FORM code line (or SHOW() method call if you use form class). Most likely it is not possible or very hard to organize with top-level form (even if modal form could be organized using Windows API). There might be certain other inconsystencies related - MS VFP team knows better.

I think this could be a nice wish for VFP9.

>No, I'm not. I've mentioned VB6 (Visual Basic). That means we CAN have top-level modal windows in operating system. This limitations is only in VFP. So MS - change it, please!

>Yea... Nice tricks. But we are talking here about future version of VFP. We have to do tricks, because VFP lacks that kind of functionality. Maybe it is still possible for MS to make it work in VFP8? Or should I put it into VFP9 wish list?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
