Thanks Andrew. I'm running with medium security. I also thought it was IWAM. In fact, I've proven it was IWAM. When I give only IWAM full access to a folder with several tables (and give IUSR _no_ access), some SQL statements (such as SELECT and UPDATE) work fine on those tables. But I'm running into situations where some commands (such as SQL INSERT) won't work unless the IUSR identity also has write access to both the table and the folder in which the table is located. This is the inconsistency I'm trying to understand.

>>This particular issue has been driving me nuts! How can I determine the identity under which the VFP ODBC driver runs when invoked within an Active Server Page application? It seems as though different situations exist on different systems. I thought it was IWAM, but I'm running into situations where some commands (such as SQL INSERT) won't work unless the IUSR identity also has R/W access to both the table and the folder in which the table is located. How can I change this identity if I need to? Where can I find a reference regarding this topic? Thanks!
