Just for a very little help. I, too, went through this process ... starting with a ComboBox and them going to txtQuickFill. And Gary just beside helping all the time.
I use the txtQuickFill now for pick lists, but be aware that if you have big tables to pick from, you might encounter a performance problem in two situations: when pressing "?" to show the list and when backspacing to an empty field after having typed something. This depends on wether you have an UPPER on your index or not. Dave has fixed them all in the new beta 7.1 release.
