Hi!
Tracy meant that VFP sets up it's own (hourglass) icon for mouse pointer *internally*. Explicit setting of MousePointer property forces to re-set it visually (override).
BTW, You should also assure _VFP.AutoYield = .T. to have this work ok.

>>>Does anyone have any suggestions?
>>>TIA.

>>I saw this behavior with the image object used to display the JPG file, changed the hourglass, but didn't get it back correctly. We didn't work around it.
>>After you set the Picture value, you might want to set the MousePointer property of the form and or _screen to 0.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
