What's the best way to communicate with middle-tier objects from the front-end, all created in VFP.

If I have a grid, for example, that is based on a cursor, and when the cursor record is moved by the user, it moves the record on the base table, what would be the best way to communicate to tell the business object to move the record?

I feel as though I need some central (application?) object that can receive requests from the front-end visual objects, and pass them onto to the business objects.

Any ideas?
